![]() ![]() His voice became grating and scattered, using highs and lows in an over-the-top manner. I don't know what Daniels was thinking in the great, severe changes in his inflection voicing this character but I found it extremely difficult to keep listening to. Once the VI character, Maxwell, was introduced though, it went off the rails quickly. Anytime he voiced the main character, he used his classic LD voice which was solid. He can't change his voice quite as much as some other narrators can, but he is a solid narrator in his own right. The narration started off well, with Luke Daniels' classic voice. It also made sense in that a different narrator would help separate this new series from the original and help make it stand on its own. Luke Daniels is already a well-established narrator in the sub-genre of LitRPG and I had previously enjoyed his narration quite a bit. I thought that the decision to move to a new narrator was a good one. My first surprise was that Biomancer was narrated by Luke Daniels instead of whom I was accustomed to in the world of NEO, Jeff Hayes. I knew I would miss the story of Oren and Greenpeace, but I was also very excited to begin a new series (Biomancer) set in the same world, NEO. The ending of Life Reset was bitter-sweet for me. I'll start by acknowledging that the Life Reset series was one of my all-time favorite series, and my audible library is over 300 books strong. ![]() VI Narration Disappointingly Painful to Listen To

I feel it is the way to have top players keep on playing who plays a lot giving easy chances to win against low ranking players. Observed it multiple times that high chances whenever you play with top players you will not get good dice but on the another hand opposite player will get almost every time what is needed in critical situations. ![]() 80-90% chances to get beaten if you play with top order players- no random dice ![]() There’s not much point playing Old World Alliance if you aren’t going to take some of the Dwarf players. Old World Dwarf Blockers: Again they are more expensive than on the Dwarf team and they swap Block and Tackle for Arm Bar and Brawler.Definitely a player you are going to want as they are quick, start with Block and have strength skill access. Old World Human Blitzer: Slightly more expensive than their normal counterpart and again they have Animosity towards Dwarfs. Can be handy to add some speed and easy agility skill access but a bit fragile. Old World Human Catcher: The same as a Human Catcher but just with added Animosity to the Dwarf players.Probably going to be your main ball carrier but viewing the whole roster overall you aren’t likely going to want to develop a passing game. Old World Human Thrower: A slightly worse version of the Human Thrower as their passing stat is 3+ rather than 2+ and they also have Animosity towards their Dwarven teammates.Old World Linemen: These are just the same as a normal Human Lineman so average at everything and you aren’t going to be upset if you lose them. ![]() Loner (4+), Mighty Blow (+1), Stand Firm, Strong Arm, Take Root, Thick Skull, Throw Team Mate, Timmm-ber! Unfortunately if feels like this team was put together based on what players were on certain sprues that came with the team specific box sets, rather than a team that was created with some deeper thinking behind it (though I could be wrong!). You also have some Animosity to deal with. The rerolls are expensive and depending on how you build your team quite a few of them would have trouble even using them as they have Loner. ![]() You also have to pick between two different Big Guys in the Ogre and Treeman. ![]() Old World Alliance teams have a lot of different players to pick between which can seem a bit daunting to know what ones to pick, especially if you’re taking them as your first ever team.
